Why would you do this in the middle of a severe recession, with unemployment at 9%? The purpose is clear-like an abusive relationship, you first tear down and destroy the other person, then you move in to establish total control over them. Government is the only thing left standing when these senseless attacks on the free market are all finished. That's the whole point.
