Since GA Gov. Lester Maddox declared a John Birch Day in Georgia for the Georgia native, The John Birch Society has held a banquet in his honor on many occasions.

This year the banquet will be held in conjunction with the JBS Council Dinner with all the members of the Executive Council in attendance. President John McManus and CEO, Art Thompson will speak. The featured speaker will be The Honorable Paul Broun, M.D. of Athens, U.S. Member of Congress. National Field Director Jim Fitzgerald will MC. It will be held on Saturday evening, October 17th at the Northwest Marriott at I-75 and Windy Hill.

Room: Grand Ballroom
6:00 PM - Reception, cash bar.
7:00 PM - Program
Tickets: $50/person. Ten people seated at each table.

Menu:
Spinach, Pecan and Pear
Apple Cider Vinaigrette

Balsamic Laced Flank Steak
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Vegetable of the Season

Dinner rolls, Butter

Cheesecake
Mango Coulis

Coffee, Iced Tea

Please try to attend and bring your family and friends. If you have never been to one of these, I can assure you of a great time with excellent speakers on important subjects. (The food and service have always been good there)
In the past we have asked for sponsors for the banquet and associated expenses and we will again this year. There are categories of $100, $250 and $500. If you or your business would like to co-sponsor the event please let Shirley Tuck (see below) know.

Your donation will help with the honorarium for Dr. Broun and for future speakers we invite to help educate fellow Georgians on securing our liberty.
