Dr. Michael Hill Presents the 10th Amendment and State Sovereignty:

We believe that it is time we step forth as other states are doing and affirm Alabama's sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the Constitution of the United States.

Dr. Michael Hill will cover these topics related to State Sovereignty:

(1) The history of the 10th amendment, i.e., the importance of it's inclusion in our bill of rights.
(2) How our States' rights 'slipped away' from us.
(3) How we would benefit by restoring or re-instituting State Sovereignty.
(4) What other states have done to actively promote a return of their State Sovereignty rights.
(5) How we can work in Alabama to encourage/motivate our state legislators to reinstate State Sovereignty.

BA (1978), MA (1979), and Ph.D. (1985) in History from The University of Alabama
Author: Celtic history--Celtic Warfare, 1595-1763 and Fire & Sword: Sorley Boy MacDonnell and the Rise of Clan Ian Mor, 1510-1590.
Taught history at The University of Alabama and Stillman College from 1978 to 1999.
