Meetup Description: Aloha my friends, This is Jobadiah Weeks from CD7 (A Ron Paul National Delegate Alternate) I was thinking that it might be fun to get to know all of you John Birchers. So, I thought I would open my house up for a fun day on the lake where we can all mingle/play/eat and raise some money for our trip to St. Paul. When: Saturday June 28th 11 am-Midnight Where: Aloha Beach 3090 W 63rd Ave Denver CO 80221 (I live in a gated community so if you could park on the outside street and walk through the gate with the balloons that would be great!) Agenda We will have alcoholic beverages included in the $20 donation to get in. I have wrist bands to give people. A Band Called Summer Street http://www.myspace.co... We will have a beach volley ball tournament in the morning (11 am) and after that we can grill some burgers/dogs/steaks (people are responsible to bring what they want to grill) We will have teams of 4 people each. Hopefully 8 teams if we can get the people together. (We will decide a prize for the winning team) 3360 W 63rd is where the vollyball tourny will start if you are running late and no one is at my house when you show up :) RSVP now so I can start putting the teams together. Lets do $5 per person ($20 a team) IF we get more than 4 teams then the winning team doubles their money, the rest goes to the travel fund or something like that. We will also have a tennis tournament. Singles and doubles. please email me if you would like to play in the tennis tournament so I can build that as well, lets do $5 per person. Winner again doubles his/her money and the rest will go into the travel fund. I have extra rackets or you can bring your own. We will have a HORSE tournament for basketball after the tennis. Email me if you would like to play in that. $5 to enter. Winner doubles money and the rest to travel fund. After that, we will have a Ping Pong tournament $5 each. The winner doubles money and you know the story. Then we can have a ($5 each) pool/billards tournament, winner doubles money, and you know the story. We will take experienced waterskiers/wake boarders behind the boat. $15 for 15 minutes to go for gas and raise money for the trip. Please email me so I can get a schedule for the boat driver. I only want to take out 5-10 people so get me your names quickly. We can do canoe races and kayak races for prizes as well. Pray for sunny weather! We have horse shoes and other beach games. We will have karaoke on my xbox movie theater. No buy in, singing is hard enough right?... :) After the bonfire (roasting marshmallow smores) we can have a poker tournament! 8 seats $20 "donation" at night. Winner triples his money and the rest goes to the the delegate travel expense fund. (I also have a craps/blackjack and roulette table for those who'd like a little Vegas adventure here in Colorado!) Sounds like a fun day huh? I found some rules below. It looks like this is "legal" Maybe we can have Ryan Call come to make sure were not breaking any rules! LOL FEC Rules for National Convention Delegates We will have a sign in sheet for your guests when they pay to get in. (They will mark on the sheet who invited them) The money will be split based upon who brings the most guests to the party after expenses are covered. (I can handle a lot of people) My 4th of July party had more than 300 people. Let me know if you would like to be one of the delegates that would like to raise money with us on Sat June 28th. please email me and we will put you on the list as one of our featured delegates! Its an all Day event! Come, even if you cant come to the whole thing! PS If this goes as planned, we can do one in July and one in Aug as well! Hope you can come!
