Report on Dollars and Sense DVD Presentation

I'm so pleased to report that our Dollars and Sense DVD presentation last night was successful. Two of our newest meetup members were very instrumental in making this meeting successful. They along with other JBS Chapter members distributed flyers about the meeting, invited others through personal contacts and shared some articles and the DVD with others prior to the meeting. I think we introduced many more people to this issue than just those who attended.

We had 13 people in all attend. I think this was a good turn out for such a busy, cold and icy night. I think everyone was interested in the information presented. After the DVD I gave each of them a paper that listed several ideas of types of action they could take related to the topic, in particular HR 833 to abolish the Federal Reserve and HR 1207 to audit the Federal Reserve. I also listed websites for contacting our Congressional Delegates, purchasing additional copies of the DVD and our meetup website.

Everyone stayed after the meeting for further discussion. I think the one on one conversations were especially beneficial. Again, thanks to Spencer and Eric for engaging attendees in conversation after the meeting! Nearly everyone either expressed interest in attending future meetings, intention to take some form of action, purchased a DVD or other material to share and so on.

We plan to host another meeting soon.
