If you took part in the Columbia meeting with Joe Wilson, thank you. For those of us in Lexington County, please plan to attend the one in Lexington on Thursday.

For those who have not attended one of Joe Wilson's townhall meetings, let me tell you what to expect. You will be asked to write your question or comment on a 3x5 card. You will notice that all those allowed to speak or whose questions are entertained, comment very favorably of the Congressman, or give him a chance to speak about his successes. You will notice someone standing near the Congressman, filtering through the cards to select the politically correct ones. You will go home frustrated that the Congressman didn't get a chance to answer your question, and you were not given a chance to speak.

Of course I think we should be there -- with our "No National Healthcare" signs. Roll them up and tuck them under your arm when entering the meeting room. When national healthcare comes up -- that's the time to display them. In the hallway after the meeting is another possibility for sign display.
