We have 2 events coming up, one July 3rd and one on the 4th at the State House. Remember to have your "No Con-Con" and "End the Fed" signs:
Rally for Constitutional Rights and State Sovereignty The north (Gervais St.) side of the State Capitol building is where we will rally on July 3 for Wake Up South Carolina. Liberty organizations from all across the state are coming together to rededicate themselves to work together to reclaim their Constitutionally guaranteed Rights. The event starts at 1:00 PM with the Declaration of Independence performed by a reenactor who speaks with passion from his deep conviction. John Perna will speak for the Ron Paul meetup. Talbert Black will be representing Campaign for Liberty. ABATE is sending a speaker. Timothy Moultree of the Libertarian Party will speak. 9/12, co-host of the event, will have a speaker. First Freedoms will speak about the importance of State sovereignty as a check to federal growth. This is an important event in the freedom movement. Bring your freedom minded friends and family to meet and get to know our copatriots in this incredible awakening. (Remember those "No Con-Con" and "End the Fed" signs) ************************************** The Columbia Tea Party Coalition will be holding its second protest rally on July 4, 2008 at the State House from 12:00-2:00 pm. Schedule of Events: 11:00-12:00 Chaos (patriotic band) Rocky-D (radio personality out of Charleston) will emcee the event SPEAKERS: Bill Conner (candidate for Lt. Gov) John Perna (Constitutionalist) John Steinberg (fair tax) Patricia Wheat (fed reserve) Talbert Black (campaign for liberty) Ray Moore (pastor) Jim DeMint (U.S. Senator) Nikki Haley (candidate for Gov.) Starting at 2:00 pm, Sen. Demint will hold a book signing across the street in the parking lot on Assembly and Gervais The Tea Party Coalition is a group of Americans concerned with the path our country is taking. We support fiscal responsibility, small government and strict interpretation of our Constitution by the U.S. Supreme Court. We held our first rally, Tax Day Tea Party, on April 15. We invite all South Carolinians to join us on Independence Day to protest the outlandish spending and growth of federal government, as well as the diminishing liberties for all Americans For further information, please contact Allen Olson at 803-466-7217 Sharon Clark |
