In honor of Bill of Rights Day Dec. 15th, The event described below is an opportunity to show the superiority
of the Bill of Rights over the UN Declaration of Human Rights. We will gather around 2pm, and after the event
begins at 3pm, we will be finished
Sunday, Dec 6, 3:00 to 5:00 pm: A program commemorating the 61st anniversary of the U.N. Universal Declaration of Human Rights will begin at 3:00 pm with refreshments, viewing displays, and socializing. This will be followed by music, a video, special activities, and much more. There will be speeches by Greg Hamilton, President of Northwest Religious Liberty Assoc, and Koffi Dessou, Executive Assistant, City of Portland Office of Human Relations. Location is Collins Hall, First United Methodist Church, 1838 SW Jefferson St. Admission is free. Sponsor is the UNA Oregon Division and there are several co-sponsors.
