Ron Paul bills to support- 2008

END THE IRAQ WAR
First, for those who have opposed the interventionist war in Iraq unconstitutionally ordered by President George W. Bush without the Constitutionally-required declaration of war from Congress, but rather to support U.N. Security Council Resolutions, you will want to ask your U.S. congressional delegation to support Congressman Ron Paul's H.R 2605, the Sunset the Iraq War Act of 2008. We've held several meetup groups in Orem, Salt Lake City, and Logan to support this Act and even started a petition drive. Why wait to support Ron Paul to get re-elected to Congress? Support him now by supporting his bills, nor for him to get elected to the oval office to attempt to end the Iraq war. Please, help us now to end the war, not just on election day. This is work, as part of our meetup group, or part of The John Birch Society the permanent freedom organization, which you can do every day, every year, not just in the election years.

ABOLISH THE FEDERAL RESERVE
Second, If you're against continuation of the Federal Reserve System's monopolistic banking cartel, then, you will love Congressman Paul's H.R. 2755 to abolish the Federal Reserve System's board of governors. You'll want to contact your Congressional delegation from Utah to ask them to co-sponsor this bill. To contact Congress use the system The John Birch Society (JBS) has set up to make it quick and easy. The system contains and issues board that will educate you briefly on the issues surrounding a piece of legislation, then, presents you with an e-mail letter already written that you can and should edit to make it original. Third, if you love the Rights once protected by the Bill of Rights, support Congressman Paul's H.R.3835 which the John Birch Society featured as a middle spread in its bi-weekly magazine, The New American. STOP A NORTH AMERICN UNION
Fourth, Congressman Virgile Goode sponsored H.Con. Res. 40, to stop the North American Union,with Congressman Ron Paul co-sponsoring the House Concurrent Resolution. Contact your Congressmen to demand that they co-sponsor this resolution. you don't have to wait to elect a new congressman, use the Congressman you have even if you're often in disagreement with him! Influence him now and you can help shape the future, right? REPEAL NAFTA!
Fifth, if you understand that NAFTA and the SPP underpin the creation of a European Union style North American Union, you will want to support H. Con. Res. 22. to repeal NAFTA. Congressman Ron Paul is a cosponsor of this important legislation.

Now is the time to support H.R. 2755, to abolish The Federal Reserve. (See my message above). Congressman Ron Paul spoke at The John Birch Society 50th Anniversary Celebration's Saturday night JBS Council Dinner event on October 4th as one of four speakers. He complimented The overflow crowd and the tens-of-thousands of other dedicated JBS members across America for their 50 years of educational efforts to awaken America and urged them to continue in their efforts. He told us we were living in dangerous times.

Early the next moring, at the Outagamie Country Regional Airport in Appletion, Wisconsin, I was fortunate to run into Congressman Paul and he was kind enough to allow me to visit with him at the gate as we awaited boarding our flight to Minneapolis St. Paul. One thing I asked him was if America was sliding into a hyperinflation and if this bailout would hasten the slide. He said, "Not right away, eventually, yes."

So let us stop the slide into hyperinflation. Let us abolish the source of inflation, the Federal Reserve Board. Let us tell our Congressmen to support H.R. 2755 now!

Updating this message: In 2009, H.R. 1207 has done very well thanks to support from members of The John Birch Society, the C4L, the END THE FED group, 9-12 Project members, and other groups that have all joined together to pressure Congress to pass H.R. 1207 to bring about an audit of the Federal Reserve. 222 U.S. Representatives are so far listed as co-sponsors of the bill. We had best start working on the U.S. Senators now if we are to prepare them to support an audit of the Federal Reserve.
