Where does money come from? Where does it go? Who makes it? The money magician's secrets are unveiled. Here is a close look at their mirrors and smoke machines, the pulleys, cogs, and wheels that create the grand illusion called money. A boring subject? Just wait. You'll be hooked in five minutes. It reads like a detective story – which it really is, but it's all true. This book is about the most blatant scam of history. It's all here: the cause of wars, boom-bust cycles, inflation, depression, prosperity. Your world view will definitely change. Putting it quite simply, this may be the most important book on world affairs you will ever read. 608 pages.

There is a great video on Youtube that is of the author, G. Edward Griffin giving an overview of the book. It is wonderful and would be great to show your friends: http://www.youtube.com/watc...

This would be a great meet-up for your friends whom have never heard of this book. I read the first section already and it is fascinating.

The Creatur from Jekyll Island is a fascinating book. It was wonderful to have Bliss Tew join us. He had good information and stories to add.
    •  Glad these two women, Thera Lue Bird and Jennifer Doud, are taking a complex book and reviewing it. Americans need to understand the kind of monopolistic private monetary system we've been saddled with since 1913 and the dangers to our well-being from that system's management of our once free economy. We also had some of the booklet "Dollars & Sense" to share at the meeting.
